Ronaldo is the "perfect" player

Former Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Nuno has declared Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo to be the ultimate footballer
Nuno: Ronaldo is the "perfect" player

While Real Madrid were triumphant in their La Liga campaign, it was Barcelona's Lionel Messi who took the Pichichi award with 50 goals this season. However, Nuno rates Ronaldo as a better player than the Argentinean because he believes his compatriot contributes more to his team's efforts.
"Messi is a great player, but Cristiano is absolutely tremendous. He is the best in the world because he's the most complete player, he is fast, powerful, scores goals, has so much quality and always helps his team out defensively if needed," he said to AS.
"He is the perfect 10. I have never seen such a perfect football machine."
The former custodian considers Ronaldo to be better than the likes of Pele, Alfredo Di Stefano and Diego Maradona.
"Football has changed a lot, and I doubt that players such as Pele, Di Stefano and Maradona could do what Cristiano does now with that intensity," Nuno stated.
Ronaldo finished second in the Pichichi challenge with 46 goals.

SRK slapped with Wankhede ban

The MCA officials have lodged a police complaint against KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan for his alleged misbehaviour at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.
SRK slapped with Wankhede ban

"We have lodged a complaint against him at the Marine Drive Police station (for his alleged misbehaviour against MCA officials)," informed Mumbai Cricket Association secretary Nitin Dalal.

The Bollywood star had an altercation with the security and officials of the association after the Knight Riders had swamped Mumbai Indians, according to MCA treasurer Ravi Savant.

"He misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match (between KKR and Mumbai Indians). We have decided to ban him for life from entering the stadium in future," said Savant, who alleged that the actor was in a totally inebriated state.

Giving the background to what happened after the KKR’s 32-run rout of MI in the last IPL game of the season at the Wankhede stadium on Wednesday, Savant said that Shah Rukh and his posse of bodyguards had gone up to the teams’ dressing room and then come down and started to step on to the ground.

"The MCA security personnel told them they cannot do so as the match was over which led to Shah Rukh abusing them as well as the MCA officials. There was manhandling too by his people. We have decided to ban him from all future matches at the stadium. We are also going to lodge a police complaint against him," said Savant.

Savant also said that one of the members of the MCA’s managing committee who is also a top police official, Iqbal Sheikh, tried to intervene and pacify the actor but could not do so as he was in no mood to listen to anyone.

Asked whether MCA would lodge a complaint with the BCCI over Shah Rukh’s behaviour, Savant said all the altercation had taken place in the presence of IPL CEO Sundar Raman and BCCI’s media manager Devendra Prabhudesai.

"Of course we will lodge a complaint with the BCCI also," said Savant.

Dalal said the MCA is scheduled to have a managing committee meeting next week and would discuss the scuffle.
'MCA ban on SRK not final yet'
Meanwhile, IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla said a final decision on the matter would only be taken after getting the version of all the involved parties.

Shukla was guarded in his take on the matter.
"I will take the version of the MCA, Shah Rukh Khan and the police before talking about the issue," he told reporters.

"The decision on a ban is taken by the Working Committee, so I will speak to MCA President Vilasrao Deshmukh on this. I have to take the version of all the parties involved and then speak," Shukla added.

Bollywood's look-alikes

Although Sneha Ullal, who made her debut opposite Salman Khan in Lucky: No Time for Love, keeps insisting that she is not an Aishwarya Rai clone, not many are ready to believe her.
One look at the pictures here and you know why.
What makes the resemblance more interesting is that Sneha was picked to play opposite Salman Khan when he had undergone a nasty breakup with Aishwarya Rai.

Mumbai model Gunjan Bakshi looks a lot like ex-Miss World and actress Priyanka Chopra.
Gunjan, who has done commercials for well-known brands like Airtel, Nokia, Hide and Seek and Dabur, says it's amusing when people mistake her for Priyanka.
"Once I was having dinner with my cousin and a small kid walked up to me asking me for an autograph. I wondered why. While I was signing it for him, he was like 'I really liked you in Krrish.' That's when I realised he had mistaken me for Priyanka," she said in an interview.
But will Gunjan continue to acknowledge the similarity once she enters Bollywood?

You would be forgiven for thinking that Bollywood bomsbhell Rakhi Sawant and Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe are sisters separated at the Kumbh Mela.
And that's not where the similarity between the two glam girls ends. Both are outrageous in their own way. Both admit having gone under the knife at different points of time to enhance their assets.
Incidentally, both of them also earned fame when they first appeared on television and stage shows in barely-there outfits.

Sometime back Bipasha Basu also took on her double - calling Needhi Gill a C-grade actress.
Gill later sent a legal notice to the actress claiming that Bipasha - The Black Beauty, the film in which she had played the lead, was in no way connected to Bipasha's life.

Their names start with the same letter, they both hail from a family of film professionals, they both are actors, they both are good dancers and they both look the same.
Even before Love Story 2050's release, Harman was tried his best to play down comparisons with Hrithik Roshan. "I am taking baby steps into the industry and am being compared to somebody who is a well established superstar. It is like asking for too much. The expectations are taxing for a newcomer like me", he told the media.
Love Story 2050 bombed at the box office, and so did Victory and What's Your Raashee?, and clearly just looking like Hrithik will not be Harman's passport to success.

Aamir Khan and Tom Hanks - two men bound together by much more than just their insanely good looks.
Both are also brilliant actors known for their commitment to great cinema.
What's more, Aamir has even expressed a desire to remake Forrest Gump, the movie that got Tom Hanks an Oscar.

Edgar Ramirez Arellano is a Venezuelan actor, whose claim to fame was a successful soap opera Cosita Rica.
In 2005, he made his major motion picture debut playing Choco, Domino Harvey's love interest in the film Domino directed by Tony Scott.
09 Is actress Hrishita Bhatt really an Alyssa Milano clone?
You decide!

No one can doubt the petite Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi star Anoushka Sharma's resemblance to the famous Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan.
Nazia had shot to fame with the song Disco Deewane in the early 80s, she died of lung cancer at the age of 35.
Though Anoushka has just started her stint in Bollywood, we hope she too becomes as popular as her look-alike.

The World's First Photograph

One summer day in France in 1826, Joseph Niepce took the world's first photograph. It's a photo of some farm buildings and the sky. It took an exposure time of 8 hours. Voila! It had to feel pretty incredible, like magic.

No one's exactly sure how he did this or what chemicals were used. All that's known for sure is that the photo is on an 8"x 6.5" pewter plate. It's so faint it has to be tilted in order for the light to catch it just right, to see it.

The Getty Museum in California did two weeks of tests in 2003 in a joint project involving the Rochester Institute of Technology and France's Centre de Recherches sur la Conservation des Documents Graphiques (try saying that three times fast). Then it went back on display at the University of Texas in a new air tight case, where it's been on display since 1964. I'm not sure why we have it and the French don't, but "hah".

The current theory about how the photograph was taken is that Niepce coated the pewter plate with bitumen, a petroleum derivative sensitive to light. After it spent those 8 hours hardening, he washed the plate with a mixture of oil of lavender and white petroleum. This dissolved the portions of the bitumen that didn't 'see' direct light, so didn't harden. Pretty damn clever. Niepce called his work a "heliograph," in a tribute to the power of the sun.

Believe it or not,,, This photograph is of a train interior in Japan

With the results looking nicer than most nurseries, the Japanese have taken the idea of ‘child-friendly public transport’ to the next level with these 2 beauties, both designed by Eiji Mitooka. He was the artistic force behind ‘omoden’ (toy train) and ‘ichigo ec’ (strawberry train), a couple of regional trains which travel on a daily basis on the 14.3km Kishigawa line in Japan.
These trains contain hundreds of toys, TV screens showing cartoons, immaculately clean wooden flooring and cots for younger children.
