BollywoodWorld.com, Akshay Kumar dislikes being typecast as an ‘action’ or a ‘comedy’ hero and says he is not in the race for the top spot.
“We are not fighting for any title. We are not race horses that you bet on them. We all actors are in one fraternity and we do films so that our industry progresses and not because we want to fight with each other for a title,” the 44-year-old actor said here while being presented as the brand ambassador of Viacom18′s youth channel SONIC.
He has performed his own stunts ever since his debut in Bollywood in 1991 with “Saugandh”, but confesses that he gets jittery while doing some risky scenes.
“I have done a lot of action in which I get really scared. But it’s more of a good fear that I feel. Like a human body, which has good cholesterol and bad cholesterol, similarly we have good fear and bad fear,” said Akshay who was last seen in “Desi Boyz”.
Akshay was crowned the “original khiladi” of Bollywood after he did a series of films like “Khiladi”, “Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi”, and “Main Khiladi Tu Anari”, among others.
Once again he is working on a ‘khiladi’ film titled “Khiladi 786″, which is being co-produced by him and Himesh Reshammiya. His other future projects include “Housefull 2″, “Joker”, “Rowdy Rathore” and “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2″. – IANS
