AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri believes their Champions League knockout round opponents Arsenal are good enough to win the competition.
Milan finished the group stage second to Barcelona in Group H, and were on Friday night pitted against Arsenal, who finished top of Group F, ahead of Marseille, Olympiacos and Borussia Dortmund.
And Allegri is aware his side have plenty to do if they are to overcome the Gunners, a side he believes are good enough to go all the way.
"Arsenal are difficult opponents, a team that has everything to go all the way in the Champions League," Allegri told Premium Calcio.
"In February we will have to be ready. Arsenal is a team at our level."
However, former Milan goalkeeper Dida believes the Rossoneri have proven during the group stage that they should be considered as one of the favourites for the competition.
"Milan are growing," Dida said. "I think they have been showing that they are reacting and are willing.
"I believe Milan can be compared to Barcelona and Real Madrid, because they have talent on the pitch, they have talents who want to win, and I believe they will be able to get there and even win it.
"Why not win it? I believe that in football, there can always be a surprise champion."
Milan are next in action on Saturday when they take on Siena in Serie A.
